Cardio Club is back !

Cardio Club is a great way for students to get energized for the day! We walk, jog, or run every morning from 8:10-about 8:22, weather permitting. We are on the grass, so shoes can sometimes get wet or dirty. Many students bring shoes to change into afterwards. Most teachers also have brushes available to clean shoes off before entering the classroom.

If you would like to access your child's data, please email me at jschumacher@sandi.net<mailto:jschumacher@sandi.net>. I will need the student name, your first and last name, and your email address.

Shopping on Amazon.com

While you are shopping on Amazon.com (throughout the year) please go to www.dingeman.net and click on the Amazon.com image on the left side of the screen.  You will be taken to the Amazon.com site and Dingeman will receive various % of your purchase depending one what you buy and there is NO added cost to you. Thank you!

PE News

Please send your child to school with shoes and clothes appropriate for running, moving, and sweating. As it gets cooler, layers are good. Students may bring water bottles with them, but we do stop at the water fountains at least twice during the hour.

PE homework: practice tying shoes, buttoning buttons, zipping zippers, and getting at least 60 min. of moderate to vigorous physical activity every day.

Dingeman families and their girls are invited to Join Girl Scouts!

When you think Girl Scouts, you might think cookies, campfires and friendship bracelets. And sure, those things are all part of this exciting, life-altering journey, but there’s so much more to it! Girl Scouts are big thinkers, groundbreakers, and role models. They design robots, start garage bands, and improve their communities—and yes, they sell the best cookies on the planet.

Girl Scout San Diego staff member Tracy Browns is available to answer questions about joining and or/starting a Girl Scout Troop in any grade, including TK and Kindergarten.  Tracy can be reached on 619-610-0757 and at tbrowns@sdgirlscouts.org.  Please contact her if you would like to reserve a place in the Troops that are forming for fall!

To check the status of new troops (organized by zip code and/or school) visit www.sdgirlscouts.org/join .  Girls can join any open troop listed in the online catalog. Tracy is currently looking for parents who would be interested in Leading and/or helping out with a Troop for Dingeman Tk, Kinder and 1st grade girls and welcomes your questions. If you are interested in being in this Troop email Tracy!  Please share this information with families you meet to spread the word about Girl Scouts!
